KaAsh! hum khul k zindagi kerte
Umr Guzri hai khud kushi kerte

Bijliaan is taraf nahin aain
wanra hum Ghar Mein roshni kerte

Kaun dushman teri tarah ka tha?
Aur hum kis se Doosti kerte?

bujh gaee Kitne chand se chehre
dil k sehra mein chaandni kerte

Ishq Ujrat talab na tha wanra
Hum teray dar pe nookri kerte

Is taManna mein ho gaee Ruswa
Hum bhi ji bhar k aashqi kerte

Husn us ka na khul saka Mohsin
Thak gae loag shairi kerte

Lahuu say dill, kabhi chehray ujaalnay kay liyeh
main jee raha hon andheron ko taalnay kay liyeh

Utar paray hain parindon kay ghoul saahil par
safar ka bojh samandar main daalnay kay liyeh

sukhan libaas pay the'hra to jogioon nay kaha
kay aasteeN hai faqat saanp paalnay kay liyeh

main sochta hon kabhi main bhi koh'kunn hota
teray wujood ko pathhar main dhaalnay kay liyeh

kissay khabar kay shabbon ka wujood laazim hai
fizaa main chaand sitaray uchhalnay kay liyeh

BAHA RAHI THEE WO SELAAB MAIN JAHEZ APNA
BADAN KI DOOBTI KISHTII SAMBHALNAY KAY LIYEH
